There is more than just the races planned for this weekend’s seventh annual Mankato Marathon, presented by Mayo Clinic Health System.

The Mankato Marathon weekend schedule is outlined below:

Saturday, October 15 Scheels Sport & Health Expo

 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Myers Field House, Minnesota State University, Mankato

 Pediatric and Adolescent Dentistry Toddler Trot*

 1 p.m. at MSU, Mankato

 Pediatric and Adolescent Dentistry Diaper Dash*

 1:10 p.m. at MSU, Mankato

 Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic Speaker Series

 12 to 7 p.m. at the Myers Field House, MSU, Mankato

 12:30 p.m. Ryan Foley, M.D., Orthopedic Surgery at Mayo Clinic Health System

 5:30 p.m. Dr. Scott Stevens, Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Specialist from the Orthopaedic & Fracture Clinic

 6 p.m. Alisha Perkins, wife of Minnesota Twins Pitcher Glen Perkins, “Being Active and Mental Health Ties”

 6:30 p.m. Kelcey Carlson, Minnesota Fox 9 news anchor, “Find a Finish Line”

 Mankato Family YMCA KidsK

 2:45 p.m. Race begins for kids ages seven to 12

 3 p.m. Race begins for kids ages six and under

 Pork Power 5K*

 4 p.m. Race begins

 Bacon station is located between miles one and two on Timberwolf Drive, before the water stop

 Sunday, October 16 Wells Fargo 10K*

 7:30 a.m. Race begins

 Full Marathon, Relay Marathon and Half Marathon

 8 a.m. Races begin

 Post Race Festivities

 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Front Street in the City Center

 Live music from The Jeremy Poland Band

 A free beer for runners from Mankato Brewery

*The start line for all races is at MSU, Mankato campus parking lot 21, located at the corner of Warren Street and Stadium Road.

Registration for all Mankato Marathon races end Friday. It will reopen from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Scheels Sport & Health Expo.
