Scheels revealed the route for their highly anticipated half marathon, Tuesday. The big reveal happened in store and many were excited to see the curtain come off. The half marathon and 5–K route will both start and end at Scheels. There's a good mix of trail and roadways. This race has been in the works for almost two years, and they're excited they can finally share the route. The big thing they wanted to do with the Scheels Half Marathon and 5–K is complement the Mankato Marathon in the fall.

"One of the big parts of the route was that we wanted to make sure that for early spring that it was manageable. That the city and the state and everybody was okay with how we did the course. And we wanted really, to have Scheels really involved with the course. And the last thing is we wanted it flat," Mark Bongers, a representative with Final Stretch said.
