MnDOT Officials Seeking Public Input On Pedestrian Options For Highway 60 In Elysian

Posted: Updated:
MnDOT officials are seeking the public's input on options for pedestrians along Highway 60 through the city of Elysian.
MnDOT and Elysian city officials are inviting residents to attend a meeting to lay out the pros and cons of a pedestrian crossing on the highway.
The meeting takes place January 16 at 6 p.m. at the Elysian City Hall.
The $16 million dollar Highway 60 construction project will stretch from the junction with Highway 14 through the Highway 13 intersection in Waterville beginning in 2020.
In addition to possible pedestrian crossings, the project will also include resurfacing, and updating pedestrian ramps at turn lanes and sidewalks, along with additional lighting.
