The Le Sueur County Sheriff's Office is investigating a string of burglaries from over the weekend.

Details are few so far, but authorities say a suspect or suspects broke into the Thirsty Beaver Bar, Fischer's Corner Bar and Tucker's Tavern in Elysian during the early morning hours Sunday. No information about what was stolen from the three bars has been released.

Brad Zimbrick, owner of Tucker's Tavern says the manager arrived Sunday morning and found glass everywhere from a broken side door. The damage didn't stop there, doors were also broken downstairs and change was strewn all over the bar alongside broken bottles.

Fischer's Corner Bar also reported extensive damage to their bar. The owners say the suspect or suspects broke a back window to gain entry into the building.
Police say they are following up on multiple leads and are actively searching for those involved.
