Authorities see an uptick in impaired drivers on Minnesota roads compared to 2016.
Extra enforcement ran from November 22 to December 31.
During that time, over 2,600 drivers were arrested for DWI. That's up from the 2400 DWI arrests during the same period in 2016.
In the Mankato District, the Minnesota State Patrol made 38 DWI arrests.
More than 300 law enforcement agencies across the state took part in the campaign.
