Dozens of Xcel Energy workers from Minnesota are heading south to help with ongoing power restoration efforts in Puerto Rico.

The company says hundreds of thousands of people still remain without power nearly four months after Hurricane Maria made landfall.
65 line workers and support staff from the upper Midwest, including 2 from Mankato are traveling to the island.
Xcel is one of more than 20 electric companies part of a nationwide effort to bring nearly 1500 additional workers to Puerto Rico.
