Plonsky Helps Clippers Extend Winning Streak To 10
In Class A, the #7 Cleveland Clippers were looking to continue their impressive season and push their winning streak into double digits.
Carter Kopet got things started, driving to the lane and kicking it out to fellow senior Austin Plonsky who hits nothing but net for the trey, he would finish with 25 points and 8 steals.
The visiting Hurricanes wouldn't go away though as James Hongerholt (13 points) battles for the ball and after fighting for possession is able to find Brady Happel who makes a nice jump stop and goes up strong for the bucket.
More offense from Houston as Connor Van Gundy decides to show off his range and knock down the three-point basket.
However the Clippers would be too much in this game as Kopet drives through defenders and gets a nice roll for the layup, he ended with 13 points.
Moments later, Cleveland showcased a little pick and roll as Kendall Lusty finds freshman Ben Holden underneath the basket who kisses it off the glass, he finished with 10 points and the #7 Clippers improved to 13-1 on the season with a 68-44 victory.
