The Hennepin County study conducted by the Minnesota Board on Aging finds that Minnesotans working longer could benefit the state's economy and also support those who lack the savings to retire. County leaders say that older workers bring experience and resilience to the work field and also excel at mentoring, customer service, and communications skills. The best ways to keep older workers on the job are flexible work times, flexible work places, and training, these also benefit the younger work force.
