A former interpreter from the Saint James school district is facing a criminal sexual conduct charge for an alleged incident that happened in 2016.
25 year old Denisse Ramirez is charged with one count of 5th degree criminal sexual conduct.
According to the criminal complaint, Ramirez was assigned to the victim as an interpreter.
In November of 2016 she reportedly invited the student to her home and kissed him.
Ramirez allegedly told the victim she wanted to have sex but he declined.
The complaint states Ramirez also kissed the victim on the cheek while he was taking a test in the hallway at school.
Ramirez was no longer the victim's interpreter following the holiday break that year and according to the district, is no longer employed with the district.
Ramirez is scheduled to make a plea agreement February 14th.
