Ice fishing fans from all over the area will be migrating to Madison Lake this weekend for the Humminbird Mad Bobber tournament.
For the first time, this year contestants can participate in the event across the entire lake in wheel houses, portable houses or open–air fishing. In previous years the contest was sectioned off and no ice shelters were allowed.

The contest begins at noon on Saturday and continues until 3 p.m. Over $10,000 in prizes will be awarded after the tournament ends.
"You don't have to sit on a bucket outside for three hours," said Al Dorn, an official for the tournament.  "You can be in the comfort of your home so we really think we're going to have a nice draw."
Tournament registration is open online tonight until 10 PM and at the "door" tomorrow on Madison Lake.
