A suspect has been arrested following a high–speed pursuit and the discovery of a large amount of drugs in an Eagle lake residence last night.
According to the Blue Earth County Sheriff's department, agents with the Minnesota Valley Drug Task Force conducted a controlled purchase of cocaine from 31–year–old Soloman Devron Grady.
Mankato police attempted to pull Grady over with the intention of arresting him for the controlled substance charges when he began to flee.

High traffic levels forced the task force to terminate the chase but Grady lost control of his vehicle near the intersection of Highways 169 and 14 and was apprehended shortly after on foot.

Authorities say 26 grams of suspected cocaine was found in Grady's home after a search warrant was executed.

Grady is currently being held in Blue Earth County jail on several charges.
