With the start of Minnesota's legislative session a week away, State Senator Rich Draheim said he has a long list of goals he'd like to accomplish this session.

A few include higher education costs and affordable housing concerns.

He'd also like to propose a bill that would put prescription drop-offs at pharmacies, which could combat the opioid crisis and protect waterways.

Also on his list is entitlement reform.

"As resources get tighter and tighter, we need to make sure that we have those resources for the people who really need it," Sen. Draheim said. "The able-bodied people that are able to work, we need to get them back on working. We just need some checks and balances."

Another topic he'd like to address this session is term limits.
