On Wednesday, the Mankato West girls alpine ski team made its 6th-straight state meet appearance as team.
The squad of Briggs Carlson, Kate Nelson, Hailey Kopischke, Lindsey Sievers, Shanalyn Just and Rachel Sievers finished 2nd as a team just one point behind Stillwater.
Carlson led the way with her 6th-place finish and Nelson wasn't far behind coming in 12th.
Four Mankato individuals also competed at the boys state alpine ski meet with two of the skiers finishing in the top ten.
From Mankato West, senior Jaidan Rollings finished 4th overall and Mankato East senior Jordan Risk was 9th.
Cougar junior Spencer Steinbach was 34th and Scarlet junior Nick Bohlke was 36th.
