Along with the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation the State Fair will be honoring those Minnesota families who have owned their farms for 100 years. Farms must meet three requirements to be recognized. They must be at least 100 years old according to authentic land records, have been in continuous family ownership for at least 100 years, and be at least 50 acres and currently involved in agricultural production. Those awarded will receive a commemorative certificate and an outdoor sign signifying their status. Applications are due April 2nd.
