Step right up, and don't by shy!

Arnold's Park Amusement Park is opening for the season, Friday at 10am!

The park is finishing up a huge renovation project.
Paul Plumb, marketing director for the park, said:  "A group of donors came forward and gave us a $6,000,000 donation that was a matching donation.  So we raised the other $6,000,000 and started a three phase project a couple years ago."

A new parking lot was added, along with new bathrooms in the park.  Majestic Pavilion also received a remodel.

"It's really incredible what we got accomplished here over the winter.  Hats off to all the construction crews and the folks working together.  They've put in a lot of extra hours to make sure that we got open on time."  Plumb mentioned.

If coasters make you queasy, they have plenty of other things to do.

Plumb said:  "All the shopping you can do for mom and dad across the street in Queen's Court.  We have Pirate's Cove Mini-Golf up here.  Later on this summer we'll start a free concert series out in the green space."
