Mankato Man Faces Multiple Charges Following Police Pursuit
MANKATO, Minn--According the criminal complaint, 28-year-old Justin David Scarbrough allegedly refused to stop when an officer tried to pull him over near Vine Street in the early morning on Wednesday.
Scarbrough had an active warrant out for his arrest at the time.
Court documents say Scarbrough accelerated through a stop sign, eventually stopping in an alley way, where he and his passenger were arrested.
During a search of his vehicle, authorities say they found traces of methamphetamine, syringes, a pellet gun, suspected stolen electronics, and a "robbery kit."
Scarbrough faces charges of felony drug possession, fleeing a police officer, and possession of burglary or theft tools among other charges.
