NEW ULM, MN - People looking to cool off from the extreme heat and humidity found a little relief.

The splash pad at Lincoln Park was a popular place to try and escape from the over 90 degree temperatures.

Kids waded in the cool waters, while some adults decided to dip their feet in.

Maddie Pierson, who works at the splash pad, said: "I worked today and yesterday and during my four hour shift yesterday, there was always at least 5 or 6 kids in here with 5 or 6 adults."

The splash pad at Lincoln Park opens every day at 12:30pm and stays open until 6:30pm and there is no admission charge.
