Over two dozen people have been arrested as the result of long term drug investigations in Brown County.

Within the last six months, the Brown/Lyon/Redwood/Renville Drug Task Force conducted numerous operations throughout Brown County and in New Ulm.

Authorities say 31 felony controlled substance arrests were made, with multiple more pending.

According to police, 6 children were also removed from homes where controlled substances and drug paraphernalia were located.

During the 6 month time span, the Drug task force says it seized over $18,500 used to sell or purchase controlled substances. That's in addition to 5 firearms, over 1300 grams of methamphetamine, and nearly 680 grams of marijuana, among other drug paraphernalia.
