NORTH MANKATO, Minn. -- The Region Nine Development Commission held a legislative panel discussion Wednesday morning to reflect on this year's session.
The discussion took place at the South Central Service Cooperative.

Lawmakers in attendance voiced their opinion on what they believe went well, what could have gone better, and their plans for the future.

Region Nine Development Commission Executive Director Nicole Griensewick Mickelson said there were conversations on infrastructure, bonding, transportation and more.
"40 different commissioners from across the region in the 9 counties have agreed upon different topics, such as the 'Child Care Crisis,' which has really become the quiet crisis" said Griensewick Mickelson.

" That we're trying to shed more light on to help with child care."
Most of the panel hopped on a bus tour with guests, after the panel, where they traveled to see project developments in other cities.
