38-Year-Old Man Faces Felony Charges After Dirt Bike Pursuit
MANKATO, Minn--Authorities say they tried pulling Jesse Allen Pepper over Wednesday, after noticing he was using a flashlight as a headlight and had no rear brake lights.
Court documents say Pepper led them on a pursuit, where he allegedly went through a red light, jumped over a center island, and drove into an oncoming traffic lane.
The pursuit ended on the Minnesota River Trail, where authorities tased Pepper twice after he allegedly refused to comply with officers.
Pepper is charged with felony drug possession and fleeing a peace officer, as well as misdemeanor DWI, obstructing the legal process, and reckless driving.
