MADISON LAKE, Minn. - One person was airlifted following a four-vehicle crash outside Madison Lake.

According to the State Patrol, a pickup truck heading north on Highway 60 was trying to turn left into a driveway when it was rear-ended by an SUV, pushing the truck into the path of a southbound dump truck. The driver of the dump truck tried to veer around the pickup but struck it head-on, lost control and struck another vehicle.

The driver of the pickup was airlifted from the scene, no one was else was injured. Highway 60 was closed down in both directions while crews cleared the scene.
