LE SUEUR, MN- The Minnesota Department of Transportation opened Highway 93 from Highway 169 to Le Sueur at 8:45 a.m Saturday. This stretch of Highway 93 was closed since June 25 due to flooding of the Minnesota River.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution as crews continue to work off the shoulder and stabilize the surrounding area.

While Highway 93 from Highway 169 to Le Sueur has opened, other road closures due to flooding of the Minnesota River are still in effect, including:

·       Highway 19 east of Henderson (closed June 23)

·       Highway 93 from Highway 169 to Henderson (closed June 24)

Motorists should seek alternate routes for these two closures, as the roads will remain closed until the water level recedes and crews can inspect for safe operations.
