MnDOT Closes Roads In Murray, Cottonwood County Due To Flooding Concerns
More roads have closed due to rising water levels in Murray and Cottonwood counties.
MnDOT has closed the bridge on Highway 30 east of Currie over the Des Moines River due to concern about the force and speed of the river.
Drivers are being detoured around the bridge and are being asked not to use the bridge until officials can ensure it's safe for travel.
In Cottonwood County, officials have closed County Road 5 south of Highway 62. County Road 7 is also closed to traffic from County Road 13 to 410th Street in Southbrook Township.
