Boomchickapop Closing Minneapolis Headquarters
NORTH MANKATO, MN - A popular brand of healthy popcorn that got its start in North Mankato is going through some changes.
Boomchickapop is closing their corporate headquarters in Minneapolis and moving those operations to Omaha and Chicago.
Conagra bought the popular popcorn brand last September for $250,000,000.
The company has a manufacturing location in North Mankato. That factory will stay open.
Boomchickapop was founded in 2001 by North Mankato residents Angie and Dan Bastian.
