MANKATO, Minn. - The 77 Lancers are wrapping their 40th season and bringing back familiar faces to do so.
The community wide summer marching band has invited alumni to return and play in this year's Fun Days Parade. After 40 years, it will be a chance to see familiar faces and relearn old notes.
"There's definitely a learning curve there's a lot of members who are really nervous about coming back and marching I haven't March with the bass drum for like 25 years so I'm a little nervous driving back on the bass drum but I think it's going to be fun, rewarding experience," former Lancer Eric Bundy said.
There are several opportunities to see the Lancers perform after the Fun Days Parade. Pie in the Park coming up on Tuesday at Sibley Park and a final concert on the 13th at Minnesota State University-Mankato.
