Two-Vehicle Crash Injures Three In Blue Earth
BLUE EARTH, MN- Just after 5 p.m. Friday, Minnesota State Patrol reported that a Ford Expedition was traveling southbound on Highway 169 when a Ford Fiesta pulled out in front.
The Fiesta, facing east, was pulling out of the Shell station just north of Blue Earth when the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Fiesta, 67-year-old Kristin Taylor from Guthrie, OK, sustained non-life threatening injuries and taken to Blue Earth ER.
Her passenger was not hurt nor was the driver of the Expedition and two teenagers in it.
An additional two teenagers riding in the Expedition, 14-year-old Alexa Andreoff and 15-year-old Jordon Smith of Blue Earth, were transported to Blue Earth ER for non-life threatening injuries.
All seven individuals involved in the crash were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not a factor.
Blue Earth Police Department, Faribault County Sheriff's Office, Blue Earth Ambulance and Blue Earth Fire and Rescue assisted on the scene.
