Volunteers Swing Into Action At Fallenstein Playground
NORTH MANKATO, MN - The Fallenstein playground at Caswell Park is getting close to being finished and today they got a little extra help.
About 25 volunteers took time out of their day to come down and assemble equipment like swings and climbing structures.
The playground is specially designed to be inclusive for all kids, no matter what their abilities are.
Sarah Kenward, who is on the board for The Miracle League, said: "It's been a long time coming. The idea started about 3 years ago. We started fundraising 2 years ago and we met our goal about 6 months ago and here we are finally seeing it come to completion."
After the equipment is installed, the rubberized play surface will be laid down. The Miracle League will announce the park's opening on their Facebook page.
