Freeborn and Waseca Counties are looking into connecting the cities of Albert Lea and Waseca with a regional trail, and they'd like your input.

Officials say the trail would utilize an abandoned railroad line that parallels highway 13 and connects the cities of Albert Lea, Manchester, Hartland, New Richland and Waseca.
Ultimately, the goal is to connect two State trails - the Blazing Star State Trail and the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail.
Officials are asking for the public's help as they envision what the trail would look like and how it would connect.
