MPCA Hands Down Fines For Second Quarter of 2018
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has officially completed 52 enforcement cases state-wide from the second quarter of 2018.
The enforcement cases stem from MPCA’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental compliance.
In our viewing area, Scott Equipment from Arlington received a fine of $30,000 for hazardous waste and industrial storm water violations.
Other smaller cases in our viewing area include a $15,928 fine for Crown Cork and Seal USA Inc. in Faribault, a $10,725 fine for Associated Finishing Inc. in Mankato and a $8,200 fine for Wakefield Pork Inc. in Amboy.
Penalties from all 52 cases across the state total just over $366,000
