BLUE EARTH, MN - Around 5 o'clock yesterday evening, a powerful storm rolled through the City of Blue Earth.

Residents say the storm lasted about 15 minutes, but in that short time, it managed to knock over trees and snap branches.  Most of the damage was isolated to homes along Main Street.
Leslie Mercer, who lives on Main Street, said:  "The tree survived the rabbits, it survived the construction, it survived everything and God sneezed and it's gone."
Mercer also said that he spotted golf ball-size hail and winds powerful enough to blow his patio furniture off of his deck.
