BLUE EARTH COUNTY- Authorities confirm one woman has died following an accident that involved a car and a motorhome just before 3:45 p.m. Friday.

The crash took place at the intersection of county road 50 and county road 11, east of Minneopa State Park.

Blue Earth County deputies say 70-year-old Mary Louise Blank, of rural Nicollet, was traveling north on County Road 50 when her 2016 Chevrolet Malibu collided with a 2005 Four Winds motorhome, traveling westbound on County Road 11.

Blank was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the motorhome, 57-year-old Roger Baertsch from Carver, MN, along with his nine-year-old grandson were transported by ambulance and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

A third passenger, 32-year-old Erik Johansen of Lake Crystal, was uninjured in the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office and MN State Patrol.

Lake Crystal Fire Department, Lake Crystal Ambulance and Gold Cross Ambulance assisted on the scene.
