Walz Campaign Responds to F-Rating From NRA
Gubernatorial Candidate Tim Walz has received an 'F' from the NRA.
The NRA's website says an "F" is given to political candidates who are a "True enemy of gun owners' rights... Who always opposes gun owners' rights and/or actively leads anti–gun legislative efforts, or sponsors anti–gun legislation."
While serving in Congress, Walz has previously received an "A–" from the gun rights lobby.
"The NRA has given me an 'F' because they know I am uniquely positioned to build the coalition necessary to finally pass commonsense gun legislation and keep our communities safe." said Walz.in a media release.
Walz's DFL opponents Erin Murphy and Lori Swanson received "F" and "C" grades respectively.
