A man arrested in Mankato on drug charges has a date set for his next hearing.

Joshua Chlan of Webster remains in Blue Earth County jail on three felony drug charges following a March bust made by Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force.

The criminal complaint says Chlan was the source of pills that led to three overdoses in Northfield, where a local supplier identified Chlan as his source.

The complaint says the pills were marked as oxycodone, but were later tested by the BCA and found to have the highly–potent drug Carfentanil plus cocaine in them.

Authorities say a search of Chlan's Mankato home turned up over 45 pills marked as oxycodone along with other suspected drugs.

If convicted on all charges, Chlan faces a maximum term in prison of 50 years along with potential fines of up to $450,000.

His next hearing is set for October 1st; bail is set at $200,000.
