This morning's rain didn't keep the crowds away from Farmfest.

Farmers and their families enjoyed food, exhibits, vendors, and displays of the latest farm implements.  There were panels featuring ag experts and of course, political candidates.

Andy Peterson, a farmer from Jackson, loves spending time at the event with his sons.

"The excitement the boys have when we go to the DNR booth and they're making bird houses and shooting bow and arrow and different things in there.  They look forward to that each year." Peterson said.

This is the 37th year for the event.  Farmfest runs through August 9th.
