NEW ULM, MN - A little bit of heat didn't keep people away from the Brown County Fair this afternoon.

The temperature climbed up into the 80s.  All the animals had fans to keep them cool in the livestock sheds.

Fairgoers sweated it out while checking out the rides and exhibits, and of course sampling the fair food!

Kelly Stadtherr, who spent her lunch break at the fair, said: "We always go to the demolition derby on Saturday nights.  We have a lot of friends who are in the derby, so it's always fun to watch.  And then yeah, cheese curds!"

80s metal band FireHouse are performing tonight at 7:30.  The Brown County Fair runs through Sunday.
