Minnesota State University Mankato is offering unique way to watch a movie on the big screen.
The MSU Student Events Team is hosting a drive-in movie this Friday at 9 p.m. in University Parking Lot 20.
The college says It'll be a historic event for MSU.
The city hasn't experienced an outdoor drive-in movie in nearly 30 years.
The only drive-in theater in Mankato, Kato Star Drive-In, closed in 1988. Now, there are only 6 active drive-in's left in Minnesota.
The featured film will be "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,"
The event is free and open to the public.
