(MANKATO, Minn) Stick a Fork in Cancer marked its second year at participating Mankato restaurants today.

28 venues across town were donating up to 30% of today's proceeds to three local causes that work to improve the lives of all those impacted by cancer.

Restaurant owners are hoping together they will out-raise last year's $28,000 grand total.
"Sometimes you feel like you're in competition with other restaurants and a day like this really brings it all together," said Jay Reasner, Operating Partner at Pub 500. "It's all one community, it's all one cause".
The Jonathon Zierdt Cancer Fund, YMCA's Livestrong Program and the American Cancer Society of Blue Earth County will all benefit from funds raised today.
