MANKATO, MN - VINE Adult Community Center hosted a seminar on Alzheimer's disease Thursday.

A representative from the Alzheimer's Association provided tips for identifying, treating and caring for people who have the disease.

Experts say exercising your brain, just like your body, will lower your chances of getting Alzheimer's.

Jenna Fink from the Alzheimer's Association said, "Social engagement, maintaining social activities and getting out and talking to people, using your brain, kind of that 'use it or lose it' approach."

Nearly 6 million Americans suffer from Alzheimer's and it is the sixth leading cause of death in the country.
