Santa and his elves are making an early stop this Christmas!

The Janesville Police Department is spreading holiday cheer with a special visit from the jolly man himself. Families are invited to head to City Hall Friday night from 5–7 p.m. for a chance at a little pre-Christmas fun.

“All the families, they can either take individual pictures or they can take a family picture with Santa. They’re able to take a picture and take it home with them and then every child will be able to pick out a toy from underneath the tree while supplies last and then there's going to be treats beverages, activities, arts and crafts it's going to be a fun night for the entire family," Officer Dan Peach with the Janesville Police Department said.

The event is free and open to anyone as a way to spread Christmas cheer and to get to know your local officers.
