Mankato, MN --- The Minnesota Air Spectacular is returning to Mankato Regional Airport on June 15 and 16 and although it's months away, excitement is already starting to build.

Community partners such as the City of Mankato, Northstar Aviation and Public Safety are working together to make the event a success.

And similar to the air show's last visit to Mankato in 2015, the United States Airforce Thunderbirds will be getting in on the action this summer.

"Like I said, we've worked with them in 2015, they kind of come in and take over the town for a few days, doing their training, doing their lights doing their practices over the city and the region, so it's a lot of fun and we really look forward to them returning," says Verizon Center Co-Director, Eric Jones.

A full list of performers is available on their website attached here with more performers being added before the June show.

Tickets for the event are currently available on their website.
