Recipe from Angela Wilson of Town Creek, Ala.


1 stick of butter
8 potatoes peeled and cut into quarters.
1 pack of real bacon bits
1 tub of sour cream
1 pack of fine shredded cheese
Parsley flakes


Boil potatoes on top of stove in a big pot until tender.

When cooked,  drain water.

Melt butter and pour over potatoes.

Sprinkle parsley flakes over potatoes and mash a little.

Layer with bacon bits, then cheese and top with sour cream.

Serves about 4 people
