MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Mankato East High School's Adapted Bowling Teams took home quite a bit of hardware in the State Tournament on May 17.
The teams headed up to Brooklyn Park on May 17 for the final competition of the 2019 season.
The Cougars took home gold, silver and bronze, lining the podium with black and gold.
“The whole podium at the state championship at the state high school league were Mankato East teams, so it was an awesome morning,” said Mankato East Principal, Jeff Dahline, “and those students all came in on Monday, the day after the tournament, with their medals on, trophies displayed, and so, the opportunity for the other students to see them and celebrate them is pretty cool.”
Dahline says Mankato East prides itself on the inclusion it offers.
