MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Former Mankato West volleyball star Molly Lohman was back in town and spreading her knowledge to younger players.
Lohman played four seasons at the University of Minnesota before playing professionally.
Her professional career has brought her all over the globe with her most recent season being played in the Philippines.
Lohman was in town for the Minnesota Attack Volleyball Camp, which ran yesterday and today.
Coming home to Mankato still holds a special place in her heart.
“It’s awesome being back home," Lohman said. "Some of these girls I’ve seen play when they were younger, especially the seniors now. Even the younger girls come up to me and say ‘I watched you play!’ It’s just so fun to spread the love for the game and teach them what I know and just share my knowledge and love for the game.”
The camp was designed for 1st-12th graders.
