MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) β€” The Minnesota Department of Public Safety reports that 678 drivers in the state of Minnesota were cited for violating the Hands-Free Law during its first week in effect.

Approximately 42% of all violations occurred in Hennepin County.

Blue Earth County had the most citations in southern Minnesota, followed by Rice, McLeod and Olmsted Counties.
