Authorities identify North Mankato man killed in Highway 14 crash
A 23-year-old North Mankato man was killed in a head-on collision on Highway 14 near Courtland on Tuesday afternoon.

COURTLAND, Minn. (KEYC) — A North Mankato, Minnesota, man was killed in a crash on Highway 14 near Courtland on Tuesday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a 35-year-old Steven Paul Hess, of Chaska, Minnesota, was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer eastbound on Highway 14 when the vehicle entered the westbound lane and collided head-on with a 2002 Chevy Malibu.
Aaron Glen Lloyd, 23, was the driver of the Chevy Malibu and suffered fatal injuries.
Hess was transported and treated for non-life threatening injuries at Mayo Clinic Health System — Mankato.
This crash has marked the third fatal crash in Nicollet County in less than 48 hours.
