Minnesota officials report low weekend of DWI arrests

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - The Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety reporting some of the lowest weekend DWI arrest numbers, at 126. That followed the executive order from Governor Tim Walz that closed bars and restaurants one week ago.

State officials say March 14 and 15, the weekend before the order was issued, there were 323 DWI arrests. So far this year, the state is reporting about 6 thousand DWI arrests.
