MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - In honor of Memorial Day, Governor Walz orders flags be flown at half-staff.

The executive order is meant to commemorate the ultimate sacrifice of Minnesota’s and the country’s veterans. Flags will be at half-staff beginning at sunrise until noon.

Governor Walz said in a statement: “As we work toward peace in our world, let us never forget those who have served on our behalf.”
