MDH releases new COVID-19 dashboard on vaccine data; 1,335 additional cases and 13 deaths reported

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KEYC) - Minnesota has released a new COVID-19 dashboard detailing the state’s vaccine data.

The site details county-by-county data on vaccine administration and distribution.

The latest data shows more than 140,000 people have been vaccinated statewide, along with more than 7,300 people completing their entire vaccine series. In Blue Earth County, 1,530 people have been vaccinated. So far, Minnesota has used about 35 percent of its vaccine doses.

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KEYC) - The Minnesota Department of Health reports 1,335 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19. The total accumulative number of cases in Minnesota since the pandemic began is 438,867. Of those total cases, 34,132 are health care workers.

New cases in our region include Blue Earth County with 27, and Waseca and Brown Counties, each reporting 12 new cases.

There have been 13 additional deaths tied to COVID-19. The statewide death toll is now at 5,724. Deaths among cases that resided in long-term care or assisted living facilities are 3,660.

There are 418,610 people who are no longer isolated.

22,931 people total have been hospitalized due to COVID-19. Of that total, 4,811 were hospitalized in ICU.

In Blue Earth County, 83 people are currently hospitalized, with 11 in the ICU.

The total approximate number of tests completed is 5,982,456.

DES MOINES, Iowa. (KEYC) - The Iowa Department of Public Health reports 1,199 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19, raising the total to 298,388.

There are 83 additional deaths tied to COVID-19, raising the statewide death toll to 4,222.

258,754 people have recovered and are no longer isolated.

1,400,915 people have been tested statewide.
