Springfield voters take up bond referendum February

SPRINGFIELD, Minn. (KEYC) - After more than 28 years, the Springfield School District is asking for voter support to address facility needs through a bond referendum.

On February 9, residents within the district can vote on a two-question facilities bond referendum. The vote will determine whether the district will be able to make necessary repairs and update its facilities to provide, what the district says would be a safer and healthier learning environment for all, along with programming opportunities for kids. Community information meetings begin next week with an in-person and online option to learn more about the proposed improvements.
