Blizzard warning for Mankato has been canceled but winter weather advisory remains in place until 6 pm tonight. Blizzard warning continues for southwestern portions of Minnesota and northwestern Iowa, travel not advised in where blizzard warnings continue.
Today light to moderate snow will continue with another 1 to 2 inches expected for snowfall accumulation in Mankato, other areas can expect 1 to 2 with a pocket of 2-4. Clouds will remain in place through the night with lows falling to right around 23, winds remain breezy out of the northwest around 15-20 mph gusting to 25. Saturday, will be a cloudy one with highs reaching the low to mid 20′s, light flurries can’t be ruled out as winds remain out of the northwest around 10 to 15 mph.
